30C - Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit
30C provides a tax credit for alternative fuel vehicle refueling and charging property in low-income and rural areas. Charging property includes electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). 30C covers the cost of the property (e.g., the EV charger) itself, as well as installation costs. This includes the cost of retrofits, permitting related to the charger or refueling apparatus itself, and electrical panel upgrades to accommodate an EV charger.
45W - Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicle Credit
45W provides a tax credit for purchasers of qualified commercial clean vehicles for businesses and tax-exempt organizations that purchase or lease qualified commercial clean vehicles after December 31, 2022, and on or before January 1, 2033.
